An Abridged History of Christian God Songs
Christian contemporary music has experienced a lot of changes through the years. It’s origins can be found usually during the Jesus Movement belonging to the the later part of 60’s. Artists similar to Larry Norman paved the way for many Christian music performers of today. Throughout which period in time there had been also songs launched on the mainstream airwaves which praised Jesus as well as got his message out there. Songs similar to “Put Your Hand in the Hand” by Ocean even made it high inside the hot 100 and even had been really getting exposure. There was resistance however lots of people didn’t believe the life style that rock stars on the whole led would intermix considering the meaning getting shared.
